As we age, the skin gradually loses firmness and elasticity. Many clients would like to address this without surgery. Our face lifting treatment uses radiofrequency to help firm and lift the skin. Here is what you should know.
How radiofrequency face lifting works
During radiofrequency (RF) skin tightening we use an electromagnetic device combined with infrared and vacuum. It generates gentle heat in the skin, which aims to stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and new skin cells.
How it differs from a surgical facelift
- no incisions and no anaesthesia
- usually no downtime, so you can return to daily activities
- results are temporary and are maintained with regular sessions
A non-surgical treatment cannot replace surgery for significant sagging, but it may be a suitable option for clients who want a gentler approach.
Who may benefit
- clients noticing early loss of firmness or fine lines
- those preparing for an event who want a refreshed look
- people who prefer a non-invasive routine
Pregnancy, implanted electronic devices, metal implants in the area, active skin conditions and some other circumstances may exclude treatment. We review this at the consultation.
Supporting your results at home
- daily sunscreen, the most important step against premature skin ageing
- a moisturiser suited to your skin type
- adequate sleep, hydration and a balanced diet
Some clients also combine face lifting with microneedling mesotherapy or exosome therapy in a longer plan.
